Everyone needs to visit Long Beach Museum of Art. The current exhibition, 'Vitality and Verve' will be there until October 25th. The moment I heard Audrey Kawasaki's name, I immediately dragged my boyfriend along to go see her work in person. Little to my surprise he was familiar with Saber, a well known graffiti artist in L.A. There are so many amazing pieces in this exhibition I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys urban contemporary art. 

MISS GRADUATE

Hands down, my cousin had the best graduation party I've ever attended. The location was in beautiful San Pedro at Ports O'Call Waterfront. It was so nice to spend quality time with family. A bunch of them came from near and far, and honestly I never thought I'd have so much fun celebrating with them. Congratulations Alyssa, I'm so proud of all your accomplishments. I can't wait for you to start your new journey at USD. 

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS...

My recent trip to Vegas was insane. Literally, there are no words besides, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!" Lol. Every mini vacation I take to Vegas is always different, but the routine remains the same. Quick power naps, eat, party, repeat. I'm in need of a major detox. 

New things I loved in Sin City: 

1. High Roller Happy Hour: If you're going to ride it, you might as well enjoy all the drinks you can chug in 30 minutes.
2. Frijoles & Frescas Mexican Restaurant: A step up from Chipotle. Amazing Mexican food. Trust me.  
3. Satisfied feat. Vassy by Showtek at Omnia Nightclub: I fell in love with Omnia. It's such a sick club, and with Showtek spinning you can't go wrong. Did I mention the separate hip-hop room? The only down side was our $25 tiny mix drinks, but that's Vegas for you.

IF IT'S NOT BLACK, PUT IT BACK

The last time I bought nude heels I ended up never wearing it out. Trust me, I really want to invest in colored shoes, (specifically red) but black simply goes with everything. Within the last two months I purchased these 4 pairs, and it's been my go-to shoes. Surprisingly all of these are extremely comfortable it's ridiculous! LA RIVER

Alright I totally lied on my 6th Street post. These photos are of the actual 6th Street bridge. I got the other bridge confused with this one, but Thunder Road aka LA River runs through the 3 bridges. Now the question is... How do people get down there?

I love this longline shirt because it's not your average plaid flannel. Frankly I've been trying my best to stray far away from tying flannels around my waist, hence the title of this post. I recently bought this shirt and already I've paired it with leggings and shorts, and when it got chilly I threw on a leather jacket over it.
