GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY

F21 top/skirt/sunglasses/bag, Old Navy jacket, H&M sandals, Juicy Couture watch

Here are a few photos of my well spent Easter Sunday at the Griffith Observatory. In comparison to the Hollywood sign view, I'd say hands down Griffith wins. Would I come here again? Yes. Overall it's a great place to learn a little something about astronomy, take pictures, and hang out. Next time I visit, I'll definitely hike it.

ENTRANCE PROJECT: PART II

Casual Wear

 Girls Night Out
 Date Night
Career Wear
 Evening Wear
You don't understand how glad I am to be done with FIDM's admissions process. I just wanted to share a small part of my entrance project because it took me a while to finish it. These five looks isn't something I slapped together within 30 minutes. Everything from the brand, prices, colors, and the materials are well thought out. It's a great reflection of my personal style. All the outfits I put together is something I'd definitely wear myself. To differentiate my project from other applicants, I shot polaroids of myself in almost identical clothes/shoes/accessories. Enjoy! (:

FIDM DEBUT 2014

On Thursday I was given the opportunity to attend my first FIDM Debut Runway Show. All of the designs on the runway was nothing short of amazing. I enjoyed watching each collection come out because everyone had different elements to their designs. I love that about fashion. I love how there's no written rules to it, and how fashion is constantly changing every day. Honestly, I couldn't take my eyes off of that catwalk. It was a great first experience and introduction to what I'm walking into. With that being said I'm happy to announce that I've been accepted into FIDM. I'm excited, yet extremely nervous to start school next month. It's always been my dream to go to FIDM, and it's the main reason why I moved to California. Nonetheless, I'm proud to be attending a school filled with such passionate students. Wish me luck!

SPRING FORWARD

It's feeling more and more like Spring since we turned our clocks forward. I'm ecstatic to push my sweaters to the back of my closet, and bring my shorts out from hiding. Hooray for sunny skies and warm temperatures!

VALENTINO NOT VALENTINE

Umami Burger
Sprinkles

Valentine's day is just an ordinary day in my book. I choose not to celebrate it because a holiday shouldn't have to remind you that you love someone. Chocolates, flowers, and stuffed bears have no appeal to me unless they're given with no strings attached. Although I am anti- vday I don't care to bash anyone who celebrates it. I'm happy regardless.
What's funny is that Kevin and I decided to go out on this day. It just so happens that we both had free time and we had the urge to go Santa Monica. Let's just be clear. What looks like a date, isn't. We just like to try new places to eat.

A LITTLE PARTY NEVER KILLED NOBODY

If your friends are a reflection of yourself, then I guess that'll make me incredibly amazing. The day Kevin and I landed our loving friends welcomed us back with a get together at Buffalo Wild Wings. Since then, every single day back home felt like a party... a week straight of partying. I can't wait to see all of them again this summer. Las Vegas, you are not ready for the 94 block to come around. The count down begins now!

WEDDING IN HAWAII

(Agaci dress, Aldo clutch, Michael Kors watch, Gojane heels)

The main reason for my trip back home was to attend Leslie & Bryan's wedding. It was very beautiful and intimate. I haven't been to a wedding in years, and I feel like as I get older the more I appreciate every single detail and aspect that goes into planning such a memorable event. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Redor! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
